Go Crunky, show him who's boss, I hope Kazai at some point realizes that perhaps what he has been taught isn't ALWAYS true, full reconciliation wont happen in the near future, however it is easy for people to make paradoxical exceptions, even without fully accepting the bias they are making exceptions to is therefore wrong. time will tell

While it's normal for someone to become angry and upset when they have the beliefs that have been nailed into their heads from birth questioned, turning around and leaving Kieri alone like that right after they found each other again is NOT acceptable.

It's like I said before: Kazai has consistently put his hatred of demons and desire to kill them ABOVE Kieri and her health.  The first time they lost her, it was because he was so busy chasing a demon that he didn't realize she'd been left behind.  When they find each other again, they talk to each other (actually, it's more like HE talks AT her) for maybe a few minutes before he and Sanjulo are off and ready to kill Demons AGAIN.  And now this.
So far, I really like Kazai and I'm excited to see how his character progresses.  He's a good person, but he's really drugged up on preconceived notions, and I want to see how he works out his character flaws with Kirei's help.

Btw, though Dodongos are delicious, especially BBQ'd Dodongo ribs, the best eating is Cajun Smoked Gyorg! It's firmer than salmon, but has a bit more texture, and imparts a savory flavor, without the pungent seafood smell and flavor most fish has.

I'm a freak, I know....

I love Slightly Damned, so it's surprising that it's via an Eeveelution search that I find your dA for the first time. Go figure. I'mma add you to me watch list! Woo!

Kazai has a right to be angry. After Kieri asks him to blindly trust a demon, she questions why she should trust a commanding officer, when they were trained as soldiers from an early age. Its not his fault he's never met Buwaro. Its completely reasonable for him to be mad, since she'd be coming off as a little hypocritical in his eyes.

And Kieri is my favourite character so siding against her isn't just blind hate, this isn't 2009, when everyone hated her for no reason. :V

Well, from his perspective maybe. From the perspective of someone who thinks logically and objectively, not so much. Kieri didn't specifically ask Kazai to trust him, she indirectly said to save his judgement until after he met him. Plus, Kazai didn't even bother to get any background information about how she and he fell in love before he considered why it happened. All he did was hear that she was in love with a demon and he started making rash assumptions and accusations about Buwaro.

And again, from a logical standpoint, after hearing that there's a demon who won't hurt an angel, it's not out of the question to consider that there might be angels that would side with demons. Although seraph Verrami in particular must have spent most of her time in among angels in order to get her three pendants and a seraph rank, it does seem suspicious that she would have a large group of angels get together in a place where they could easily be surrounded and ambushed, as another user brought up previously.

Still, I guess Kazai just operates more on emotions and beliefs than objective thought, so it makes sense for him. Still, to say that to his emotionally fragile sister and storm off after having been separated from a similar event does seem unsupportive and dangerous of him. Not to mention right in the middle of a demon outbreak when angels are being hunted down and killed.

Stupid angels (other than Keiri)! F*cking arrogant dumba**es think they know everything, that they all aren't individuals with their own f*cking minds... hmph! Acting all big and bad, like they're all that and a bag o' chips! Douches... Serves ya right Kazai, you big friggin' a-hole! Seriously, you think she knows everything everyone in Heaven knows? WTF is friggin' wrong with you to think like that?!

Hmm... Have you looked at how they are trained? From they are young they are trained to kill demons and follow orders. They even dye there heir in the color of there element. Wonder rather what's wrong with the angle community. Why they have become what they have become.

You... have a point. Something is definitely wrong in their society, training essentially child soldiers as you say. Someone has corrupted them... but who? Gaia is likely missing as far as we know, otherwise she would not have allowed such cruel society among otherwise divine creatures. Whoever's in charge has weak character undeserving of absolute power... (quoting Abe Lincoln; "Nearly all men can withstand adversity, but if you really want to test a man's character, give him power.")

I look forward to see how the plot will unfold.:D
