Thank god this webcomic has appeared to lampshade/subvert what I like to call "Merlin-TV-Series Syndrome". Where within the space of two sentences, a complete stranger (no matter how obviously villianous or not) will be able to turn someone against their long-time trusted friends/allies, no matter how many times said allies have sacrificed themselves to protect or save the person now betraying/mistrusting them.

I've seen 5 random episodes of the Merlin TV series, and I think at least 3 of them was _____ (insert character here, such as Arthur) suddenly being suspicious of _____ (insert friend here, such as Merlin) under a vaguely hard-to-explain event or from the warnings/advice of _____ (insert villain or total stranger here).

Ugh.

(In other news...I am loving the current story arc...well I suppose its a constant story arc, but specifically where the comic is now heading)

Sad page, Kieri doesn't seem to fully believe them in the last panel.
They really need to sort out this trust issue...

By the way, did they ever tell Kieri how they got out of hell exactly? Bad memory block here.
