The page is boring so here's a fun fact: I originally drew J with some angrier expressions out of habit (because of characters like Rhea and Cliff) but then I was like.
Wait.
That's not J.
I like him. He is not easily perturbed, which makes him a great foil for Rhea.

the irony is that their having a "normal conversation" for the first time in the comic, no plot relevance no next big plot line not even humor to throw it off the tracks, and what makes it most ironic is these are often the best scenes in an entire story

J reminds me to my Artistic Expression teacher in middle school. We even burnt out his suitcase (don't ask how), and he was happy! Happy of his suitcase was burned! That's a GREAT teacher!
